About me
Joe Wilhelm is a physics teacher at R. Nelson Snider High School in Fort Wayne. Joe has lived in Ft. Wayne since childhood and is the product of Fort Wayne Community Schools, graduating from Wayne High School. He and his wife Rachel have been married for 9 years and have 5 pets and a houseful of plants. In addition to teaching, Mr. Wilhelm is a technology coordinator/guru, TechFest sponsor, and director of Esports at Snider in addition to being the current Director of Indiana Esports Network. He is passionate about utilizing technology in the classroom, providing meaningful and engaging educational experiences for students, and defining the role of scholastic esports in high school education. He has presented at education and technology conferences in the areas of: educational implementation of technology, robotics, esports, and more. In the illusory free time that he has, Joe can be found playing board games with his wife and friends.
